Five injured after train hits truck in Geelong (ABC) - ( 4U5TR4L14 )

Five people have been taken to hospital after a train and a truck crashed in Geelong, south-west of Melbourne.

Fire crews say the V-Line train and truck collided at a level crossing in Marshall, trapping several train passengers in the wreckage.

Five people were taken to hospital with minor injuries including cuts to the head and face.

The truck driver was not hurt and has been questioned by police.

The train was on route to Geelong from Warrnambool.

Police say they are investigating the cause of the accident.
