A man will face court over a home invasion in which another man was hit with a gun butt and shots were fired into a ceiling at a property in NSW’s south.
Police say that at about 12.15pm (AEST) on Sunday, September 1, two men forced entry to a home in Lavington, one of them armed with a shotgun.
One of the men, aged 30, struck a 27-year-old man a number of times to the head with the butt of the gun and it’s further alleged the man fired two shots into the ceiling, before fleeing.
At about 2.45pm on Saturday police attended a motel in Albury and after a short foot chase and struggle arrested a 30-year-old man.
He has been charged over the home invasion, been refused bail and will appear before Albury Bail Court on Sunday.
