A man has been arrested and charged after a shot was fired into a car a woman was getting into in southeastern NSW.
Police said a 44-year-old woman was getting into the car at Wallaroo near Queanbeyan at about 9pm (AEST) on Tuesday when the shots were fired.
She was not injured.
Just before 5.30pm on Friday police attended a residence in Murrumbateman, where they arrested a 56-year-old man over the shooting.
He accompanied police to a property at Wallaroo where officers seized a .22-calibre rifle and ammunition.
The man has been charged with discharging a firearm intending to cause grievous bodily harm and with possessing a loaded firearm in a public place.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Queanbeyan Local Court on September 30.
A 52-year-old man is already before the courts in relation to the incident.
