Man charged over Vic shooting (AAP) - ( 4U5TR4L14 )

A 35-year-old man is facing a string of charges over a 12-hour shooting attack at a Melbourne home.

The man handed himself in to police and was formally charged during an out-of-sessions court hearing on Thursday night.

Police say several shots were fired into an outer eastern suburbs home on three separate occasions on Sunday and Monday.

The shooting came after the suspected gunman had argued with a 29-year-old man at the Lilydale home.

Simon Hancock has been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, common law assault and firearms offences.

He will face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.

Police are still searching for Kim Perry, a woman Hancock had been travelling with.
