A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting another man in the shoulder during a fight in Sydney’s west.
A machete, meat cleaver, gun and bullets were also seized during a raid of his house after the shooting, police say.
The 31-year-old was charged with shooting with intent to murder and refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday.
Police had been called to an Ambarvale home at 3pm (AEST) on Tuesday where they found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
He was taken to hospital and four men were questioned a short time later at a nearby home.
