Sydney hold-ups could be linked: police (AAP) - ( 4U5TR4L14 )

Police are investigating whether two armed hold-ups in Sydney’s inner suburbs are linked.

In the first of the two overnight robberies, two men armed with a gun and a knife made off with cash from a hotel on Robey Street in Mascot about 11.10pm.

Police were then called to a brothel on King Street, St Peters, about 12.30am after it was held up at gunpoint by three men.

The robbers stole cash and a woman’s handbag from the brothel.

No one was injured in either robbery and no shots were fired.

Police are investigating whether the robberies are linked after receiving similar descriptions of the thieves.
